Dr. Tarek Hafez
Dr. Hafez is a specialist in multiple fields with advanced experience and clinical skills in Aesthetics, Prosthodontics, and Implant dentistry. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Science from Misr International University (Cairo, Egypt). Further expanding his expertise by completing both the Advanced Comprehensive Dentistry and Advanced Implant Dentistry programs at New York University College of Dentistry (New York, USA) and was later appointed Clinical Fellow of the Advanced Implant Dentistry program at NYUCD.
Dr. Hafez received his Fellow and Diplomate status from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). He holds published articles in peer reviewed journals, educated post-graduate students and presented at international conferences in the areas of Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Innovative concepts in Implant dentistry.
Dr. David Montalvo Arias
Dr. Montalvo Arias is dual-trained and experienced as both a periodontist and advanced aesthetic dentist, focusing his career on the combination of periodontal, implant and aesthetic dentistry.
He received dental training from the University of Barcelona Dental School (Barcelona, Spain), where we went on to receive his Master’s degree in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. After several years exclusively practicing as a periodontist, he completed the International Postgraduate Program in Advanced Esthetic Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry, and was selected to remain as a Clinical Assistant Fellow.
A member of several scientific groups, including the European Federation of Periodontology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Montalvo Arias lectures internationally on his unique field of knowledge.
Dr. Edoardo Felici
Dr. Edoardo Felici was born to be a dentist, with both his father and older brother practicing in the field. He graduated with honors from the UAX University of Madrid and continued his education, earning master’s degrees from both Sapienza University of Rome and San Raffaele University of Milan, in implantology and dental prosthetics. After school, he joined the family business, treating patients at a clinic in Rome.
When he is not practicing dentistry, he is training for his next fitness challenge. Dr. Edoardo has competed in several Ironman competitions and qualified for the World Championship in Hawaii. He lives by the ancient Latin phrase, “mens sana in corpore sano,” – a healthy mind in a healthy body.
Pyungyun Park
Originally from South Korea, Pyungyun Park trained in dental ceramics at the Waseda University branch in Seoul, and has been practicing since 1992. He has specialized education in VITA and occlusion and full mouth reconstruction via Kim Chang Hwan’s expert NAT/NFR course. Park also lectures at conferences organized by the Korean Association of Dentists, and has been a part of the Apa Aesthetic team in Dubai since April 2018.
Jayson Cosa
Since 2005, Jayson Cosa started working in a German Dental Company based in the Philippines. He began his career in 2009, Dubai at in-house Dental Clinic where he learned various kinds of procedures and improved his skillset. Jayson joined the APA Team after 9 years of working at an American Company in Dubai.
Nestor O. Dator
Since 1991, Nestor Dator has been expert in the field of cosmetic dental restorations. He began his career at InteraDent Zahntechnik, a German company based in the Philippines. Dator was awarded by the Mena Award Dental Competition in Dubai, for his exemplary artistic and mechanical talent in dental restoration. He was also personally selected by Mr. Willi Geller to become a member of the prestigious Oral Design International Organization. He joined the Apa Aesthetic dental team in 2016.
Rio Rian Taguba
Rio Rian Taguba graduated from dental technology in the Philippines. His career started as a CAD/CAM technician at one of the biggest dental laboratory in UAE since 2008. Rio also worked as head of technical support at a company that supplies Amanngirrbach CAD/CAM system in UAE.
His CAD/CAM experience was more than 10 years when he joined Apa Aesthetic Dental and Cosmetic Center in July 2019.
